Lena Dunham was among those to praise Hammer and Tamblyn for their response to Woods. Armie revealed later that James had blocked him on the micro-blogging site and asked whether Amber had received the same treatment.

They wrote to Woods: "What makes a 24yo/17yo gay relationship inherently indecent but skeevy old guys trying to pick up a pair of 16 year old girls is okay?" "Did I offer to take you to Vegas?" When she told him she was 16, he said, "Even better". "It scared me", Hammer said.

Call Me By Your Name will also star Timothée Chalamet as Elio when it is released on 27 October in the United Kingdom and the 24 November in the US.

Woods replied, "The first is illegal".

It's unclear exactly which relationship Hammer was referring too, but Woods dated 19-year-old Ashley Madison in 2007, when he was 59, and 20-year-old Kristen Bauguess in 2013, when he was 66. "The second is a lie", he added over Tamblyn's claim.

- Woods was sued in March by an OH woman who did grassroots organizing for Bernie Sanders. She attached a screenshot of a convo with her friend - who confirmed the run in with Woods so many years ago.

He plays a 24-year-old dashing American, who becomes the object of infatuation for the 17-year-old Elio (Timothée Chalamet). Wait until this poor kid grows up, realizes what you've done, and stuffs both of you dismembered into a freezer in the garage.

Decrepit pearl clutcher James Woods, 70, caught wind of this and though it was dis-gusting.
