Police release CCTV of 83-year-old dog walker stabbed to death

Earlier this week, detectives released CCTV footage of the last known sighting of Mr Wrighton, a retired BT engineer, in Kenninghall Post Office between 10.08am and 10.12am on Saturday.

Wearing a black t-shirt and grey pants, footage released by Norfolk Constabulary shows him walking slowly towards the till to buy a few small items before heading on his way.

A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of murder following the brutal stabbing of a pensioner in Norfolk.

Peter Wrighton, of Banham, was found dead in woodland on the morning of Saturday, August 5.
