Here's Who Will Play Aladdin In Disney's Live Action Remake

The company also confirmed that the duo will join the already-rumored Will Smith, who's now officially attached to step into Robin Williams' pointy shoes as Genie.

Disney has finally announced who will play the roles of Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie in their upcoming, live-action version of the classic animated flick "Aladdin".

It had recently been reported that Disney was struggling to cast Aladdin and Jasmine's roles, which led to massive backlash online.

Before we get to see Aladdin in cinemas, Mena Massoud will star in Tom Clancy Amazon TV series Jack Ryan. Ritchie did not confirm or deny the rumor when he was asked in May about Smith's alleged role, E!
