The suspect, with the last names Caicedo Lopez, a 22-year-old from Colombia, was held in a 6am raid on his flat in Tibas, near the capital San Jose, yesterday (Sunday).

Authorities arrested a 22-year-old Colombian man in Costa Rica after he was suspected of threatening to attack an Ariana Grande concert, according to the Associated Press.

Caicedo Lopez was described as having no police record in Costa Rica.

Head Investigator Walter Espinoza told local media the threats were written in Arabic.

De kans dat Adnan Januzaj nog lang op de loonlijst van Manchester United zal staan, lijkt heel miniem. De megatransfer van Romelu Lukaku naar Manchester United is weer een stapje dichterbij gekomen.

While the concert eventually went ahead as scheduled, this threat comes less than two months after the deadly attack after Grande's concert in Manchester, England that left 22 people dead, and many more injured. Grande has not commented on the arrest, but she did post about performing in the country.

Parque Viva and One Entertainment released a statement later in the day confirming that a threat had been received, and that they were taking the necessary security steps to guarantee safety during the concert.

"I love you, Costa Rica", Grande captioned an image from her show in an Instagram post.

Grande headlined a star-studded tribute concert on June 4th at Manchester's Old Trafford cricket ground, created to pay tribute to the victims of those who died in the attack at her show and raise funds for family members of those victims.
