Whites in talks with ex-Newcastle ace Vurnon Anita, freebie looks on

07 July 2017

Leeds United are on the verge of agreeing a deal to sign former Newcastle player Vurnon Anita.

The club announced the deal for the Dutch worldwide through their official website, confirming the sixth arrival of the summer for the Whites.

But unfortunately for the 28-year-old, they decided not to renew his contract, and he will be playing second tier football again.

Anita is Leeds' fourth signing of this transfer window, after deals for Felix Wiedwald, Mateusz Klich and Hadi Sacko.

Uber introduces tipping in Toronto, several other Canadian cities
Uber had contended tipping would interrupt its vaunted "seamless" checkout process and make customers feel pressured to pay more. The tips go directly to the driver without Uber taking a cut and riders can tip up to 30 days after the ride.

Anita was let go by Newcastle earlier this month after six seasons with the club.

Anita, 28, came up through the ranks of Ajax's famed academy, and he made more than 150 appearances for the Amsterdam giants before joining Newcastle in 2012.

But the versatile ace became one of Rafa Benitez's most dependable players last season as the Magpies won promotion back to the top flight at the first attempt.

Having seen it for the first time, what do you think of it?
